Required prerequisites

  • I have searched the Issue Tracker that this hasn't already been reported. (comment there if it has.)
  • I have tried the latest version of nvitop in a new isolated virtual environment.

Motivation

There's CPU and MEM graphs, a wattage graph would really be useful!

Solution

Further, rolling average watts shown, like:

44W / 145W / 37W
(now / max / avg)

avg = span of shown graph. That whole unused chunk of delicious curses space top right is begging for one more graph. CPU and MEM could benefit from avg shown too.

Alternatives

No response

Additional context

awesome tool!!! been using it for a while and it's super helpful analyzing performance and load.

Hi @ai4th3w1n, thanks for raising this. However, I think the feature is hard to fulfill because of limited space. Also, the metrics "max" and "avg" are closely related to your sample window.

As alternatives, have you ever tried:

All of these provide the information you need.

As alternatives, have you ever tried: - Metric Collector with TensorBoard [examples/collector-tensorboard](https://github.com/XuehaiPan/nvitop/tree/main/examples/collector-tensorboard) - Web Monitor [examples/monitor-web](https://github.com/XuehaiPan/nvitop/tree/main/examples/monitor-web) - Grafana Dashboard with Prometheus [nvitop-exporter](https://github.com/XuehaiPan/nvitop/tree/main/nvitop-exporter) All of these provide the information you need.
