We need to finish off all of the neccessary drivers to at least get into single user mode without needing to copy over the ones from Rhapsody at all
@raynorpat commented on GitHub (Oct 15, 2025):
I believe I have commited all of the driver frameworks for i386 at least
@raynorpat commented on GitHub (Oct 26, 2025):
PCIBus is now implemented, tested and working correctly in regards to compatibility with Rhapsody DR2
@raynorpat commented on GitHub (Sep 21, 2026):
Update:
The two core bus drivers (EISA and PCI) both compile and run, and run together with the modified kernel. The other bus drivers all compile and load cleanly but have not had any specific hardware testing.
EIDE and AHCI driver both work correctly in QEMU after testing.
PS2Keyboard and PS2Mouse both work correctly in QEMU after testing.
VGA driver and WindowServer bundle both work correctly in QEMU after testing.
@raynorpat commented on GitHub (Oct 5, 2026):
all remaining drivers have some form of reconstruction - good to close this out
